In short

TeoMind is a game app designed for children. It shows no ads, does not track children, uses no third-party analytics or advertising services, and sends no data about children to our servers. The games work offline; progress stays on your device.

Who is responsible

The controller for this app and this website is [Developer name / company and address]. For any question or request: [email protected]

Information stored on the device

The app stores the following on your device only:

  • Child profile: a nickname (no real name needed), age range, chosen avatar and world
  • Game results, levels, badges, daily and weekly missions, play time
  • App settings (language, sound, music)
  • The parent PIN: the PIN itself is never stored; only a salted, hashed verifier (PBKDF2) is kept in Apple’s Keychain. If iCloud Keychain is on, this verifier is synced end-to-end encrypted between your own devices.

Face ID / Touch ID is checked by iOS to open the Parent Area; TeoMind never has access to your face or fingerprint data.

iCloud sync (optional)

If iCloud is on, child profiles and progress are stored with Apple’s CloudKit in the private database of your own iCloud account and synced between your own devices. TeoMind has no access to this database. You can turn iCloud off in iOS Settings.

Sign in with Apple (optional, parents only)

If you sign in with Apple in the Parent Area, the name and email Apple shares (or Apple’s private relay address) are stored on your device only — to show your name on the report and to confirm it’s you when resetting a forgotten PIN. They are not sent to our server. Children never create accounts or sign in. Signing out removes this information from the device.

Purchases and educator codes

The TeoMind Premium subscription is sold through the Apple App Store. Apple processes your payment; TeoMind never sees card or payment details. The app reads the subscription status from Apple’s signed records on the device. Purchasing is only possible behind the parent lock.

If you enter an educator code, the app checks the code against TeoMind’s public iCloud directory and attaches a random identifier (appAccountToken) to the purchase. This random identifier is used only to credit the sale to that educator; it contains no name, email or information about your child.

Contact and PDF reports

The “Contact us” screen in the Parent Area sends your message to [email protected] through your own email app, only when you press send. If you choose, the app version, iOS version and device model are included; no child data is included. We use emails only to reply to you and delete them within 12 months after the matter is closed.

If you choose to share the progress report as a PDF, the file goes wherever you pick in the iOS share sheet. TeoMind never sends it anywhere on its own.

Children’s privacy

TeoMind is designed in line with the App Store Kids Category rules and the principles of the GDPR, COPPA and Turkey’s KVKK: no personal data is collected from children, there are no ads or tracking, and outside links, purchases and settings sit behind the parent lock.

This website

teomind.app uses no cookies, contains no analytics or tracking tools and loads nothing — not even fonts — from third-party servers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser information) for security and operation; we do not analyse these logs.

Deleting data

  • Delete a child profile in Parent Area › Settings.
  • Deleting the app removes TeoMind’s data from the device.
  • Delete the iCloud copy in iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage › TeoMind.

Your rights

To exercise your rights of access, correction, deletion or objection under the GDPR and KVKK, write to [email protected]. Because the data on your device is not on our servers, you can also manage it directly in the app or in your device settings.

Changes

If we update this policy we will publish the new version on this page and change its date. If the kinds of data involved ever change, we will tell the parent inside the app.
